Job Summary
The Client Account Manager at CCM fosters long-term relationships with attorney clients and law firms by delivering transparent case updates, financial reporting, and remittance tracking. In this 2025-founded firm dedicated to ethical, nationwide fee recovery, you’ll ensure clients feel supported throughout the contingency-based process, reinforcing CCM’s reputation as a trusted partner that preserves goodwill and maximizes returns.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for 15-25 active attorney clients, providing personalized updates on case progress via phone, email, and portal.
- Generate and distribute monthly reports detailing recoveries, disbursements, and account statuses, compliant with trust accounting standards.
- Track remittances and resolve discrepancies, ensuring prompt fund transfers minus contingency fees.
- Conduct quarterly check-ins to gather feedback, identify upsell opportunities (e.g., additional case referrals), and address client concerns.
- Collaborate with collections teams to align client expectations with realistic recovery timelines and strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of client interactions, preferences, and history to personalize service.
- Assist in onboarding new clients by explaining CCM’s ethical process and referral programs under Rule 1.5.1.
- Monitor client satisfaction metrics and contribute to retention strategies, such as targeted newsletters on fee recovery tips.
- Coordinate with the Business Development team for joint outreach to expand referral networks.
- Ensure all client communications uphold CCM’s professional, discreet tone.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- 3+ years in account management, client services, or sales support, preferably in legal or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in CRM (e.g., HubSpot) and reporting tools like QuickBooks or Excel.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with empathy for legal professionals’ challenges.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in law firm client relations or debt recovery services.
- Familiarity with California IOLTA trust accounting rules.
- Certification in client relationship management (e.g., CCP).
- Networking experience in bar associations.
