IT & Security Coordinator

Job Summary CCM’s IT & Security Coordinator secures sensitive client and debtor data, managing encryption, access protocols, and digital tools for case management. Protecting our 2025-founded operations in compliant fee recovery, this role ensures robust cybersecurity that supports nationwide service without breaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Manage user access to systems like Clio and email, revoking as needed for compliance.
  • Encrypt sensitive files and train staff on phishing recognition and data handling.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues for office and remote users.
  • Maintain backups and disaster recovery plans for critical data.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Support integration of new tools, ensuring HIPAA/FDCPA alignment.
  • Document IT policies and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Collaborate with vendors for hardware upgrades or cloud services.
  • Report on security metrics to leadership quarterly.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in IT, Cybersecurity, or related.
  • 2+ years in IT support or security roles.
  • Certifications like CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Mac, networking, and encryption tools.
  • Knowledge of legal data privacy laws.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in law firms or financial sectors.
  • Cloud security expertise (e.g., AWS).
  • Incident response training.
  • Vendor management skills.
